Canadian Spa

How well can Canadians take hot humid temperatures?
If they wanted to do so?
There is no question Canadians can handle chilly weather quite well, even in Southern Ontario where winters get below zero, or even in BC on the coast where the wind chills are strong.
But when I went into a hot spa in Quebec, I was surprised to see the temperature only about 35 degrees celsius in the spa
and when I was in Takhini hot springs in late June in the Yukon outside Whitehorse, nearly everyone waded in the cooler end of the pool, avoiding the hotter springs.
So I ask this…would Canadians despite the cold climate, be able to tough out hot conditions? Like VERY humid and temperatures above 35 degrees with 97% humidity…
which is believe it or not, the January climate of Darwin, Australia. opposite hemisphere (monsoon season)
one Winnipeg July it reached 35 degrees celsius with a “dewpoint” of 25 degrees, so Winnipeggers could, right?
We can handle them pretty well.. it’s all in how you adapt to the climate you’re living in.. we’ve mastered handling temperatures WELL below 0 degrees… try like -30 + a wind chill.. not fun! but those aren’t everyday like most think.
we get summer temps in eastern Canada that reach into the high 30s and some days are extremely humid… I love a good hot beach day, but I wouldn’t want that everyday.. you can’t do anything except lie in front of the air conditioner because its just too hot to move.. that would be soo boring just having one season.. I love having all four seasons!
